ChristaCarol’s unique name comes from a compromise between her parents, including the middle name “Sunshine”. While they swear on never having been hippies, ChristaCarol isn’t so convinced. Born in California, partial childhood in Colorado, and raised in Texas, she has been an actor, a singer, a costume character, and a stay-at-home mom amongst many other things that allow her a creative outlet.

She lives in Keller, Texas with her supportive husband who is also her best friend, two daughters (in which her mother’s famous quote of “I hope when you have kids of your own, they’re just as dramatic as you!” has undoubtedly come true) and an aging old-geezer of a dog, Neville. And yes, that’s Neville as in “Neville Longbottom”.

When she isn’t spending time with her family, writing with her muse, or teaching preschool music, you’ll usually find her reading (typically in the same genre she writes), watching movies, and attempting various new hobbies like candle making, jam making, or anything new that comes along and intrigues her.
